it's definitely either a Mk3 or Mk5 - although hard to tell exactly what MODs it's had- can't see if it has the 17 pdr, 20 pdr, B-type 20 pdr or 105mm gun.

definitely pre-Mk7 due to the rear hull-plate design.

ah - a Mk5/1 - the "1" denotes MODS, which i can't see in that picture - most were to do with up-armouring the glacis plate and various sight MODs. other MODs were concerned with up-gunning Centurion - it doesn't look like the muzzle of the 105mm, so it would have to be the 20pdr - might be wrong though as it's impossible to see in the pic

it's DEFINITELY an "LR" - stands for "Long Range" - it's the additional armoured fuel-tank on the rear. the Mk7 had a completely redesigned rear hull, to include more fuel capacity under armour

even so, the rear turret basket looks wrong too - from a later Mk. that, along with the towing hook makes it almost certainly Australian
