well, after a LOT of buggeration yesterday, Tom.com and i managed to hook up in FSX :D

i thought I'd fly my VC10 straight and level to give Tom.com the opportunity to formate..............silly me - he's even worse than Wedgy! :((

after he went on the grass [-x ...
Image

lined up for takeoff - my VC10 and Tom.com's F18
Image

another bloke joined us in his Meteor :D
Image

notice that speck in the distance? yup, you guessed it - Tom.com! =))
Image

Image

Image

he was MUCH better than Tom.com, who clearly just wanted to approach me at warp 6 and zoom past...
Image

it was actually bloody difficult to take screenshots of Tom.com - this explains why...
Image

can you guess which of the two vapour-trails are mine?????? :p

Image

i was clearly nothing more than a target for him! =))
Image

Image

Image

so, whilst i was nice and straight and level - how was Tom.com getting on i wonder?..............
Image

=)) see? even worse than Wedgy! =))

well, all good things must come to an end - so i landed and watched for Tom.com................i think his landing is what is described as "short" =))
Image

he did find the tarmac eventually though :ymapplause:
Image

then i changed to a Typhoon trio - just to see if i could beat Tom.com to altitude...
Image

of course i did - piece of cake! \:D/

the Typhoon is 'orrible in FSX though - it has two speeds, Mach Lots or STOP =))

plus my graphics card really isn't up to it, so we called it quits :)

next time Tom.com - try some formation pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease ;)
