In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Not often common sense and the correct decision is made in the courts these days, but it is nice to see these NIMBYS swatted again. :D \:D/ :ymapplause:

When the estate I am on was built next to RAF Waddington there was an entry put into the deeds that the estate is built next to a large and busy airport, when the estate was only a third finished I walked past four women who were going to get together and claim against the RAF because of the noise, as they had heard that you allways win and will get extra glazing and money, they did not proceed when I pointed out that it would cost them dear in legal fees when they lose the case due to the clause in the deeds.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Image

"Cotswold District Council initially launched enforcement proceedings following complaints about flying activity from some neighbours, with former RAF and commercial airline pilot John Gurney and his wife Angela, of Kemble Wick, the most vociferous."
